It was a fantastic weekend! It was perfect weather and many riders enjoyed the fantastic riding in Temecual. Many riders raved about the course and the conditions. This is largely thanks to the many volunteers who have been building singletrack.

There is still much to be done. With the recent rain, it is a great time to get started. I tentatively plan to start trail work next Wednesday, February 11, at 3 p.m. We will meet at the finish/start area of the go-kart track. We will be working on a new trail, which will allow us to explore more possibilities!

For the February 14th race, the weather looks great. The trails will be ablaze with dirt thanks to the torrential rains right now. Spring Challenge Race #2 will be another stage race, with some slight changes to the schedule. One, we will move Dirt Crit up so that it starts half an hour earlier. To make racing more accessible to riders at the right level, we have changed the Super D classes.
The paved go-kart track was responsible for a third of the dirt circuit.
The shuttle is now heading towards Stage 2 Super D.
In the dirt crit, Chad Walton was 2nd to Kevin Holldber.
Bear Valley Bikes Derek Hermon has been a regular on the SoCal circuit.
David Stowell is a regular winner of the grand prize in product raffles like this cruiser.
